 Video Camera Sewer Pipe Inspection.

Video Cameras have become one of the most valuable tools in the sewer & drain cleaning industry. Why? Because it takes all the guess work out of determining why a sewer or drain line has history of backups & clogs. Specially designed fiber optic cameras allow a visual inspection of underground sewer & drain pipes, duct work, manholes and storm drains to determine the condition and exact location of problem areas.

A flexible rod with a fiber optic cable has a high-resolution video camera attached to the end and is inserted into the pipe for inspection. Video images are then transmitted to the plumber operating the camera and can be saved onto a dvd or video tape for a permanent record. Also a radio transmitter is on the camera head to record the exact depth and physical location of the camera head so that the defects, roots or obstructions can be corrected in the most cost effective way possible.
